The Google Android platform is gaining speed in the applications area as more and more applications hit the Android Market for the T-Mobile G1.
Recently G1-ers saw Opera bring their browser to the G1 and now others are beginning to do the same and bring their browsers to Android, one of the latest is Steel.
Steel, from Kolbysoft is based off WebKit much like the Apple iPhone Safari and the G1’s browser, and Steel will eventually incorporate a multitude of features which will include configurations, downloads, clear application history and cache, multiple windows, and one more thing, an on-screen keyboard; however at the moment Steel is still in its infancy so don’t go expecting it to compete with the likes of Opera.
