Well just when you thought it was safe and all the BlackBerry Storm hype was over, the guys at Research in Motion (RIM) have launched The BlackBerry Curve 8900 or as some know it the Javelin on the O2 network in the UK.
The Curve has been branded the BlackBerry Bold 9000 light, basically saying it’s not quite as good as the Bold but a pretty close second. So here is a rundown of what you will expect from this mighty BlackBerry.
The BlackBerry Curve is slightly smaller than the Bold measuring in at 109 x 60 x 13.5mm dimensions and a light 110g, you get a great 3.2 mega-pixel camera, a microSD slot supporting up to 16GB, a superb 2.4 inch 480 x 330 pixel display, plus you get a super fast 512MHz, you also get WiFi and GPS but the one big negative with the BlackBerry Curve 8900 is that it does not have 3G.
You do get a 3.5mm headphone jack plus iTunes synchronization. Battery life is pretty good to, 15 days on standby and 5 hours talk time, plus if you sign a contract for the BlackBerry Curve this December on O2 you will get the device for free.
