Google Android, the open source platform that isn’t just for the T-Mobile G1, Android was purposely built to basically run on every mobile device a person owns. So it doesn’t come as much of a surprise to see Android on something like the HTC Touch.

Work with Android has been going on for some time now, and we have a video of Android working on the HTC Touch handset, obviously a HTC device running Android isn’t that big a deal considering the G1 is also an HTC handset.

But it’s all there on the HTC Touch too, albeit we are hearing a few issues scaling the UI to QVGA and Bluetooth along with USB and GPS isn’t available as yet. Still watch the video and see what you think.
