The latest smartphone from Samsung is the 8 megapixel camera packing Samsung M8800L, and word is it’s on its way to the United States of America, and has been dubbed the Samsung Pixon.
According to the FCC the Samsung Pixon will be ready and raring to connect with the AT&T 3G network and will be a tough competitor to the Apple iPhone 3G.
This particular version of the Samsung Pixon, the M8800L is similar to the European version, but supports 850/1900MHz WCDMA bands and thus only compatible with AT&T, and still has that juicy 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus, flash, secondary video call camera, Bluetooth + A2DP, and a 3.2 QVGA touch-screen. Price-wise though and just when it will hit is still a mystery.
