T-Mobile has joined with Wikipedia, Last.fm, and Shazam to bring new and improved music downloads to their users, and is known as Mobile Jukebox.
Mobile Jukebox can be accessed via T-Mobile’s Web-‘n’-Walk mobile platform and along with allowing users to download music to their PC or mobile phone also offer biographical info, track release and events announcements and the latest artist news.
According to T-Mobile, Music Jukebox holds more than two million song tracks and 100,000 albums which are all available to download. When entering Mobile Jukebox a user enters the names of their favourite artists and will be issued with a list of matching and similar artists to help with their choice.
