RIM BlackBerry sales suffer as Wall Street jobs lost
Research In Motion has enjoyed for several years being at the top of the business tree with their BlackBerry smartphones; the BlackBerry has been the perfect mobile handset for professionals with some of the biggest users being on Wall Street.
However, with the financial sector being in somewhat of a mess, investors in Research In Motion are asking will this lose of BlackBerry sales only be temporary or more importantly permanent.
RIM shares have been in free-fall this last half of the year, and RIM has lost more than $100 in value so not sits mid-range at $30.00. So why is this? Well part of it has to be Apple and the massive sale from the Apple iPhone, but the main problem comes with the job losses on Wall Street, and that’s where the BlackBerry is losing.
