Santa Claus phone calls beats letters by 6 to 1 ratio
It’s a busy time of year for Santa, and it seems he is being inundated with phone calls. For instance, in New Zealand where a Santa call centre was set up early December, it has received 700,000 phone calls.
It appears that the letter to Santa has taken a back seat as technology now uses the phone as the preferred way of contacting ole Santa Claus at a ratio of 6 to 1.
And old Santa is also being tracked by Quest utilising NORAD technology to track Santa’s sleigh ride on Christmas Eve, and whereby children can gain location reports via the “The NORAD Tracks Santa” website and by phone.
