Apparently according to a surgical research team, mobile phones are the latest harbour for hospital related superbugs as them team of experts have revealed bacteria thrives on mobile handsets.
The research team apparently revealed a startling image of colonies of bacteria frown from a working hospital doctor’s mobile phone; this photo was issued by a group of infection specialists who are investigating the spread of such superbugs as MSRA and C diff.
His new research was performed by Richard Brady of the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, and was prompted by the increase in use of mobile phones by hospital staff and an apparent lack of guidance in how to clean the handsets.
