Google working to help blind with Android
With the advancement of mobile phones and operating systems and moving to the touchscreen it must be getting exceedingly difficult for someone who is visually impaired, but if Google has their way that little problem may be sorted.
Web giant Google apparently has plans on making a mobile phone for everyone, they are working on an Android add-in which will enable blind people to operate the Google Android operating system.
Google researcher, T V Raman has been blind since the age of 14, and is working on a new system which would in effect when touching the touchscreen assign that point to the number 5 which is the centre of a numeric keypad and thus make for mush easier dialing for the visually impaired.
