For all you Apple iPhone users out there in iPhone land, Phil Schiller announced during his keynote address at Macworld Expo 2009 that Apple has now added support for buying and downloading podcasts and music to the Apple iPhone via a 3G data connection.
However, something Phil Shiller didn’t speak of is that iPhoners can now also download via a slower EDGE data connection as well.
Basically though there are a couple of down sides to using EDGE to download, as it takes 15.12 minutes to download a 9.3MB music track which is way slower than WiFi or 3G, and you can’t download anything over 10MB on EDGE but that restriction also goes for 3G too.
