Telecom giant Ericsson has announced their 4th quarter results, and Ericsson Chief Exec Carl-Henric Svanberg say it has been the strongest quarter throughout the year however it is also become clear there is are currency effects in Q4.

As for the economic downturn the CEO said it is important to remember we have financially strong operators today which financially strong balance sheets and there is strong traffic growth.

According to the Ericsson CEO their cash position has considerably improved and the company is happy with their cash position, and are the only vendor to have positive net cash.
