Acer apparently will unveil their first mobile phone at the Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona, but the word is it’s not that new as it’s just a re-badge of the E-Ten Glofiish DX900 the company that was acquired by Acer.
The Glofiish DX900 was originally announced way back in mid 08 and features a 2.8 inch VGA touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera, GPD, dual SIM support, and runs on the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.
So basically if this is true and Acer shows their first handset at MWC 2009 all we are really getting is the same E-Ten Glofiish DX900 sporting an Acer logo and that’s it.
