The word doing the rounds is that Nokia intends to increase orders in March due to preparing to launch numerous 3G and 3.5G mobile products with multimedia and multi-touch functions in 2009.

True or not? Well Nokia has made is somewhat clear that the Nokia 5800 is just the beginning of a salvo of touchscreen based mobile phones to come.

But one does have to consider the economy and the state that its currently in; maybe Nokia will push out loads of handsets in the hopes of gaining what customer cash is available, maybe they won’t, so I’d personally say treat this as pure rumour until Nokia confirms.
