Sony Ericsson seems to be taking the stance that if their handset are going to be leaked before the Mobile World Congress 2009, they are the ones going to be doing the outing.
Thus Sony Ericsson has released the Sony Ericsson C901 mobile handset for emerging markets, a quad band GSM handset with dual band HSPA, FM radio with RDS, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and Xenon flash, with up to 9.5 hours talk time and 430 hours standby.
The Sony Ericsson C901 will become available in precious Peach, Sincere Silver and Noble Black sometime in Q2 but as yet no pricing has been attached.
