Google caps Android Market apps at $200

With the world of mobile applications taking off big time you’re bound to come across the odd pointless mobile app that charges an exorbitant price much like the $999 I Am Rich Apple iPhone apps.

Well, apparently no such thing will be happening in the Android Market as Google has decided to place a cap on what developers can charge for their Android applications.

The whisper is that developers can submit apps to the Android Market within a price range of $0.99 to $200, which means nothing goes about the $200 mark limit. This sounds like a good idea to me, although to be perfectly honest what app is worth $200?

What do you reckon readers, good thing or bad?
