Nautiz X5 Windows Mobile rugged handset at CeBit 2009

Handheld Europe has pushed out a new rugged mobile phone going by the name of Nautiz X5, which runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and according to Handheld Europe the Nautiz X5 has “more integrated features than any rugged product on the market.”

The Nautiz X5 is GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA, with a 3.5 inch touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera with LED flash and auto-focus, integrated laser 1D barcode scanner, SiRF star III GPS chip with instantFix II, Bluetooth with EDR.

The Nautiz X5 operates at extreme temperatures of -20 to +50C, can withstand drops from 1.8 metres and is sand and dust resistant. However at the moment there is no word on price or availability.
