Apparently, Orange is to monitor the performance of a new 20Mb service it will deliver to a select group of customers who will have upgraded home broadband before committing to a large scale roll out.
Those select customers chosen by Orange for this 20Mb service test will not be required to hand over any extra money for the faster service as Orange wants to see how the 20Mb network functions on a small scale first.
The director of broadband and home for Orange UK, Asif Aziz, has said that this trial is an important step forward to offering up to 20Mb home broadband on the Orange network.
