Devs download and install the new beta of the Apple iPhone SDK, and little clues keep popping up on future Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch models.
One developer has now discovered a file with references to not one but two new Apple iPhone models along with what looks to be a new iPod Touch and two other products with the reference “iProd” and “iFPGA.”
To get to the nitty-gritty, USBDeviceConfiguration.plist in iPhone OS 3.0 there are references to iPhone3,1, iPod3,1, iProd,1 and iFPGA; all products are assigned productID’s and sre assigned a productString of iPhone.
So clearly this would seem that Apple has several new devices up their sleeves, the big question is however, will they materialise and if so when.
