BSQUARE has announced they are to port Adobe Flash to the Google Android platform on behalf of a “global Tier 1 carrier.”

No word on just who that “global Tier 1 carrier “ is or if it implies they will have exclusive access to Adobe Flash at the outset, and any details are extremely scarce at the moment.

BSQUARE acquired NEC’s Adobe Flash Technology Consulting and Distribution business a year ago and has also done Android work for other customers so they obviously know what they are doing. So it would appear Adobe Flash is coming to Android sporting smartphones such as the T-Mobile G1 and HTC Magic.
