HTC seem to have up until now shown an aversion to portrait QWERTY style mobile handsets, but now HTC seems to have taken a shine to the form factor with the introduction of the HTC Snap.
According to a post over at Engadget Mobile, the HTC Snap is 12mm thick, runs Windows Mobile 6.5 and sports a 2 megapixel camera, QVGA display, HSDPA data, AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM, and Qualcomm 528MHz core.
The HTC Snap will be in 2 versions, 900/2100 for Europe and Asia, the other will be 850/1900 for North America, while the North American version will be called the S522.
