According to a post over at slashgear, the keyboard-less BlackBerry smartphone is here to stay as RIM gets ready to launch the BlackBerry Storm 2.
Word has it that Research In Motion could push out the BlackBerry Storm 2 with Verizon Wireless sometime around September 09, and may well include WiFi.
As we all know, the BlackBerry Storm was release in November 08 and had gained some fairly harsh reviews on debut concerning the user interface and software but soon became a big hit for Verizon with 1 million sales.
If the BlackBerry Storm 2 does indeed include WiFi, it will be just the boost it needs to compete against the Palm Pre and the new Apple iPhone.
