Apple iPhone teenager ownership on the rise says survey
Apparently the slowdown in the economy and consumer spending doesn’t seem to have an effect on teenagers when it comes to owning an Apple iPhone or Apple iPod Touch.
According to an article on arstechnica, they say cite investment bank Piper Jaffray as stating 8% of teenagers already own an iPhone and 16% intend to buy an Apple iPhone within the next 6 months.
These figures come by Piper Jaffray’s “Taking Stock with Teens” survey where the purchasing habits of some 600 students were examined along with 7500 student responses to an online survey.
