MetroPCS has launched GroupLINESM, which is a one-call communication solution that targets families who are trying to save money by replacing their landline with a wireless handset.

GroupLINE enables up to 5 MetroPCS Family Plan subscribers to receive calls via a shared GroupLINE number yet still maintain their personal mobile phone number.

Any caller, even those not subscribed to MetroPCS can call the GroupLINE number and simultaneously reach all the subscribers to the plan. 60% of MertroPCS customers have already changed their landline for a MetroPCS wireless handset, and MetroPCS plans range from $30 to $50 per month.
