Verizon Wireless seems to have been dragging their heels a bit with an official firmware update for the RIM BlackBerry Storm. However, according to tech.yahoo.com, Verizon is planning on dropping OS 4.7.0.113 within the next two weeks.
Now, other carriers have already pushed out 4.7.0.113 to the BlackBerry Storm 9530, so will Verizon still release 113 or will they go for something higher, and why is it that Research In Motion simply can’t release these updates to everyone at the same time?
Canada’s Bell has already signed off on a recent OS build for the 9530 while Verizon still lags behind. Surely these carriers could collaborate with RIM to get a firmware update rolled out in unison.
