Do you need Blu-Ray DVD Extras for BlackBerry?
It was only a matter of time before Blu-ray was brought to the smartphone, and now CrackBerry is reporting that there is now a scheduled date for launch.
The word is BluFocus and NetBlender are to launch a free application that works on the Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch, Google Android, Palm Pre, and BlackBerry smartphones, and will launch in the Apple iTunes App Store this weekend.
With the app, customers can download Blu-ray interactive features and content to their mobile handset and those mobile phones can then be used as a remote control with a compatible Blu-ray player.
However, the question remains, do you need Blu-ray DVD extras for BlackBerry? Or any other mobile handset come to that, what do you think?

I think this is a pretty cool idea. These DVD extras can find another source of revenue and they help stoke interest in lesser films.
