A rather irritating MTV reality show called “The Phone” has aired, and according to The Washington Post, “The Phone” is “perfectly awful, perfectly horrid, and perfectly insane.”

The surprising thing is “The Phone” has a rather famous executive producer, none other than Justin Timberlake, who appears to want t produce trash TV in a bid to get rich quicker.

“The Phone” runs the usual formula with 2 teams of 2 contestants each episode that get instructions via mobile phone to go on a type of treasure hunt all over the city. The promotions for the show try to make it look as if failure could mean potential fatal injury while succeeding could gain them $50,000.
