Mozilla Firefox’s mobile version, Fennec is apparently to use Google Location Services for geo-location says Mozilla’s Doug Turner reports UnwiredView.
Apparently geo-location will be an “opt-in toll” which shares the users location only if they so desire. Furthermore, if the user uses geo-location apparently the browser will get smarter, and thus deliver a better web browsing experience.
Mozilla geo-location will also be included in Firefox 3.5 beta 4 which is for desktops, while Mozilla has said they will release an alpha Fennec quite soon with a beta version following by summer.
