Mobile gaming on AT&T smartphones is on the up according to prnewswire, as a survey which polled 1,100 AT&T wireless customers in the United States reveals how they play mobile games and when.
According to the findings of the 57 percent that played mobile games, 50 percent used mobile games as a distraction from daily tasks, and 40 percent used mobile gaming to relieve stress.
50 percent of mobile phone gamers revealed they played games during working hours while 1-in-7 played during their allotted break times. AT&T expects mobile gaming to continue growing as a 1/3 of those polled said they would probably purchase a new mobile game in 09.
