The word from CrackBerry is that Skyfire is coming along quite nicely and should turn out to be a nice mobile browser for BlackBerry smartphones.

Apparently Skyfire Alpha 2 was delivered to testers and several bugs are being sorted to ensure Skyfire will bring an awesome browsing experience to Blackberry users.

Unfortunately though as with most Alphas, when working to fix those bugs a few other things were broken, but that is what usually happens when building such an application so there shouldn’t be too many problems, and hopefully Skyfire will become a public beta soon.
