Starting Friday, AT&T stores will begin selling the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone with a price tag of $200 after a rebate of $100 states an article over on sfgate.
This is an earlier than expected release of the BlackBerry Curve 8900 on AT&T, and is probably due to the impending release of the Palm Pre on the 6th of June and the new iPhone OS 3.0 and possible new iPhone hardware on June the 8th.
An AT&T unlimited data plan will give the BlackBerry Curve 8900 access to 20,000 WiFi hotspots, and AT&T noted that T-Mobile USA along with other carriers in the United States began selling the 8900 for the same price back in January.
