One of the Palm Pre smartphone’s key features is its “Synergy” contact management software, and as part of the Palm Pre WebOS, Synergy auto-aggregates contact information from all your social networks.

According to wmpoweruser, it looks like Microsoft is working on taking on the Pal Pre Synergy feature, as Microsoft has posted a new job position which hints that Windows Mobile 7 will also feature social contact management features.

The job description mentions “connectors and Unified Storage models” which we feel hints towards a type of central contact management feature for Windows Mobile 7, and there is also language that indicated WM7 may integrate its social contacts with Zune.
