With the possibility of Verizon Wireless gaining access to the iPhone, AT&T may just be gearing up to enter the Google Android arena with the launch of the Android platform packing HTC Lancaster.
According to pcworld, AT&T will launch the HTC Lancaster in August and will be AT&T’s first venture into the world of Android.
The AT&T branded Lancaster sports the Android platform, a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, 2.8 inch QVGA touch screen, AGPS, EDGE 850/1900MHz, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, 3 megapixel camera with fixed focus and more unique skin and social messaging.
