With the launch of the Palm Pre smartphone almost upon us, macworld has taken a good long look at just what we can expect with the hardware, webOS, social networking synergy and multimedia.
They state they while the Palm Pre isn’t the “perfect” smartphone it certainly does not disappoint. The webOS interface is intuitive, clean and engaging, but there are some issues with the hardware.
It looks like Palm has sacrificed keyboard usability for compactness as you need to angle the finger to press a key and are cramped. As for the webOS, they found it to be one of the best designed platforms although the Synergy they found somewhat overwhelming.
