RBC Capital Markets, ABI and Piper Jaffray analysts place initial sales of the Palm Pre between 50000 and 100000 handsets reports computerworld.
Now between 50k and 100k doesn’t really compare with the likes of the iPhone sales when it launched, but one has to wonder if Palm and Sprint’s choice to limit supply had anything to do with it.
The real test of just how well the Palm Pre will come in the long term and if it can withstand the opposition now there is a new iPhone 3G S on its way, and if there is actually demand for their supply.
