Sales of the Palm Pre smartphone reached a new sales record for Sprint Nextel on Saturday according to Sprint executives’ reports Cnet.
Palm and Sprint aren’t discussing specific sales figures however; the vice president of business marketing for Sprint, Tim Donahue has said the Palm Pre launch has exceeded Sprint’s expectations.
Apparently analysts are claiming the launch of the Palm Pre a success with A.J.P Morgan estimates that in excess of 50,000 Palm Pre handsets were sold in the first 2 days the mobile phone became available. Whereas the WSJ cited analysts that stated between 50,000 and 100,000 were sold.
Between 50k and a 100k well lets see just how well the Palm Pre does now the iPhone 3G S is becoming available shall we?
