iPhone Applications Redefine Web
The World Wide Web is now an everyday part of most people’s lives as now there is the mobile web. But the web and internet are two different animals according to a report on cbc; a web browser is just one way of using the internet.
Apple has reminded people of that by utilising a small piece of that internet universe and creating a different set of rules than those that apply to the web; the mobile web has begun to matter most.
This is because the iPhone has more than just a web browser it enables developers to now charge for applications thanks to the release of iPhone OS 3.0. Apple now offers 50,000 applications and the iTunes App Store now takes power away from the likes of web big boys Yahoo, Google, and MSN.
