Samsung Jet S8000 Review: Can it better the iPhone 3GS?
The Samsung Jet S8000 is supposed to be a very good phone, the question is “Can it better the iPhone 3GS?” some say yes and some say no.
The latest from Samsung is the Samsung Jet S8000 and TechRadar has given it an impressive review where they cover: Interface, Calling and contacts, Messaging, Internet, Camera, Media, Applications, Battery life and organiser, Connectivity and PC software, Hands on gallery.
The General Manager for the UK has said that this Samsung Jet S8000 could compete with the Apple iPhone 3GS, but we like TechRadar would love to know if this non-smartphone can compete. Is this all new phone better than any other smartphone on the market, we say time will tell.
The Samsung Jet S8000 does have some pretty impressive features such as proprietary feature-phone UI, TouchWiz 2.0 OS, 800MHz processor, 3.1-inch AMOLED screen, it is pretty small handset at 108.9 x 53.5 x 11.9mm, 110g in weight, 3.5mm headphone jack, full QWERTY keyboard, 30fps VGA video camera, 2GB of internal storage, and so much more.

Just got my Samsung S-8000 Jet and must say I totally love it. I am and always will be an Apple/Mac user/fan, however, I recognize the iPhone is just a hype and not a good functional phone. Since the launge of the iPhone I realized it missed lots of features for an innovative phone. I hope before you buy one please check around for other possibilities. The Samsung Jet is one of them.
This phone looks great. I plan to take it, but my concern is divx codec. Does it support all divx files? I had bad experience with divx codecs on previous phones, since I had to convert files.
