Most people are keen to be looking out for the Blackberry (NSDQ : RIMM) Tour 9630 which is preparing to launch next month, but it seems that the 8520 Curve otherwise known as Gemini is about ready to burst out of the gates.

It is rumoured that T-Mobile (NYSE : DT) will pick up the EDGE – only 8520 around August 5th. But as we are seeing FCC filings already it would come as a big surprise if we see the new Curve this month.

While the specs may deter some, the style of the 8520 will certainly be a selling point, it has new media keys on the top together with rubberized buttons and not forgetting of course the new touchpad which replaces the trackball.
