Apple’s iTunes App Store has again reached a new milestone according to an article on afterdawn, and that milestone is 13,000 available games for the iPhone, and iPod Touch.
This milestone accounts for some 20% of all iPhone applications available via the App Store, while data via Mobclix has it that 27% of the titles are free games and the balance is made up of paid games at 73%.
Apparently the largest proportion and most popular game genre is puzzle games at 16.4% followed by action games at 11.2% and then arcade games at 11.2%. Since March, the total amount of iPhone games has soured some 110%.
