Nokia Surge gets hands on review treatment

The new Nokia Surge smartphone has now garnered some hands-on love from gearlog. The Nokia Surge is on AT&T and has been specifically designed for the United States, which means there will be no unlocked version with a different number model.

The Nokia Surge is a slide out form factor handset with a horizontal QWERTY keyboard and the square type keys feel a tad cheap while the slide mechanism was smooth but felt a little chintzy.

The Nokia Surge QVGA screen is sharp and bright although the simple graphics menu feels ages when compared with the likes of the iPhone 3G and BlackBerry Bold. For the full hands-on review just hit up the link.
