Apparently, HTC is to launch a high profile 3G mobile phone which will be based on the Brew Mobile Platform sometime in September or October reports an article on digitimes citing industry sources in Taiwan.

The word is that this HTC Brew Mobile Platform mobile phone will feature a touch screen, the HTC TouchFLO 3D tech and HTC Sense UI, however according to the source this new handset will be an entry level device.

Furthermore it is claimed that HTC plans to further adopt the Android platform in place of Windows Mobile, and HTC Android shipments will raise to over 50 percent in 2010.
