Not long ago Verizon announced their new policy for mobile phone exclusivity, well now according to an article on Yahoo, Verizon Wireless has indicated they are proposing an amendment to roaming agreement laws.

The word is Verizon Wireless has sent letters to several Senators with a recommendation that large carriers should be required by law to enter roaming agreements with smaller carriers in locations where they don’t have coverage.

Furthermore, Verizon state that the agreements should carry a minimum term of 2 years to enable the required time for small carriers to build their own networks.
