In Shanghai, one of China’s top mobile carriers, China Unicom has finally reached a deal with Apple to deliver the iPhone in China for the next 3 years according to an article on Reuters.
Apple and China Unicom have not commented further on this announcement, however sources state the deal does not include revenue sharing.
Under the deal, China Unicom will purchase iPhone handsets from Apple for 3000 yuan which is roughly $439 and will also guarantee sales of between 1 and 2 million iPhones and a minimum of 5 billion yuan in annual revenue.
