Nokia delivers after sales rural care by vehicle in India
According to an article on Telegraph India, Nokia is to extend their after sales network to rural India and has begun the care-no-wheel service to reach customers living in India’s remote villages.
Nokia India customer care director, Sudhir Kohli has said “We felt there was a need for a rural care network to match the rapidly growing distribution footprint. We are also increasing care service centres in semi-urban areas. In these areas, it has not been viable for us to open a Nokia Care Centre, though the penetration is speeding up. We need to provide proper services to each of our customers.”
Nokia regularly sends mobile vans to these remote villages to offer services for Nokia handsets, and presently has a fleet of 20 vehicles.
