The latest iPhone OS 3.1 beta is still being developed, it contains a USB configuration, referring to a sort of “iProd” device. This unknown device configurates for “AppleUSBEthernet”and “standardMuxPTPEthernet” which iPhone both use.

Apple is creating a China-specific iPhone for China Unicom and the “iProd” could be something to do with that. The iProd does have a different name but there are rumours that the device is coming as the Mac Tablet which is being denied.

Reports show an increase in orders for 10” displays and reports that at least one analyst has handled the tablet . More information will be known once Apple announce the iProd.
