Windows Mobile phone doesn’t really instil excitement in the mobile arena, and the likes of the iPhone 3GS and RIM BlackBerry smartphones now dominate mobile space along with such new operating systems such as the Palm Pre webOS and Google Android reports the guardian.
Microsoft is in the motions of playing the catch up game to fall in line with the likes of RIM, Apple, Google and Palm with its applications store.
Microsoft’s Windows mobile phone platform is regarded as a dull tool rather than a strong player in the consumer market, but the question now is if Microsoft can be a big player in the consumer market and out-glitz the likes of the BlackBerry or iPhone.
