A Norwegian company called Opera who manufactures mobile applications such as Opera Mini has confessed via twitter and in an interview with PC Magazine, they are to release a version of Opera Mobile just for Android.

You may think that the browser already used in Android devices are advanced enough and this is true but Opera Mobile has an unknown feature called Turbo, this is a key differentiator and this may be the thing to make people switch.

This makes use of a client server solution to compress websites. This will then improve battery life and rendering speed. The version of Opera Mobile is not yet available for the Symbian platform which has the Turbo feature.
