There is a new mobile location aware social network for the Apple iPhone and is called HiMyTribe and is a dedicated app which takes advantage of the GPS receiver in the iPhone “creating a location-based network that lives in real time,” reports Intomobile.
HiMyTribe isn’t a new concept as there have been similar apps such as Loopt, but it’s too early to say what HiMyTribe will finally bring to the iPhone table.
Users of HiMyTribe create “tribes”, groups of people which stay connected and can be located at any moment. Basically HiMyTribe is seen as a social network service for businesses, family and friends.
