Apple has now pushed out an update to the iPhone Mobile Safari web browser and desktop Safari which is packed with the usual stability improvements and security and compatibility fixes states an article on the iphone blog.

Windows and Mac users can gain Safari Web browser 4.0.3 by Apple’s Software Update or by visiting Apple’s Safari website.

Apparently where desktop Safari goes so does iPhone Mobile Safari, so it isn’t too difficult to think all application fixes may get rolled into iPhone 3.1 firmware that could well ship by the next Apple iTunes and iPod music event, probably in September.
