Apparently Roger Conrad of Personal Finance believes that wireless service providers could possible generate in excess of $100 billion from services such as text messaging, movie and music downloads and GPS by the year 2017 according to an article on istockanalyst
He looks at BlackBerry smartphone maker Research In Motion which dominates the US smartphone market with their BlackBerry smartphones with a 55 percent market share in the 1st quarter.
He syas that since the release of the BlackBerry Pearl in 06 RIM has aggressively targets the retail market and consumers now account for more than half of all BlackBerry sales against that of 20 to 25 percent before the BlackBerry pearl launch. For the full article hit up the link.
